About Us

The company - "BARAN" PARQUET FACTORY has been existing on the market since 1957. The founder of "Woodwork Service", as the original name sounded, was Franciszek Baran. He was producing that, what was demanded on the domestic market then. In later years the company turned into a "Laths and Parquets Production" to grew rapidly. A high-class machinery for the production of parquet was purchased and skilled workers were hired. Semi-products as well as wood for the production of parquet is bought from Polish producers and Polish State Forests.

We strive to make our products of high quality so that our client will be pleased with the purchase in our company. We can help you in choosing the right kind of wood to the room given. In our offer we also have a whole range of parquet mosaics, as well as stairs, balusters, handrails, floor boards, skirting boards, glues and varnishes. A customer who decides to purchase our products has the ability to use information about companies that cooperate with us in the assembly and stacking. Incidental to the production of our company is sawdust briquette, which is suitable for fireplaces, heating homes.

In 2001 the company competed in the "Employer - Organizer of Safe Work" contest, organized by the PIP and OIP-Rzeszow, winning the 1st place, and the certificate of PIP - confirming the adaptation of working conditions at the plant to the requirements of labor law. The company wants to be recognized by the quality of its products, both in Poland and abroad. The current level of products quality is satisfactory but wanting to outpace the competition a constant care for its improvement is essential. The proof for this is the System of Quality Management certificate (ISO 9001:2000) obtained by the company and participation in EU programs funding development investments. Besides, the company has HK Hygienic Certificate, which allows it to serve other customers in the form of schools, hospitals, offices and other public institutions. In addition, the company was awarded in the Economic and Consumer Programme "White List". This competition aims at selecting solid and responsible companies from the whole Poland. "White List" is the opposite of the so-called "Black List", containing a list of companies which settle accounts not in time with the Inland Revenue (Polish - US), the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), contractors and employees and hinder recovery of these debts. Being included in the "White List" is prestigous for a company and means recognition of its merit, expressed with the right to use the promotional title of a reliable company throughout a year. In October 2007, the company BARAN PARQUETS celebrated its 50th anniversary.

Preliminary work

Before a parquet will be placed:

  • all works associated with tiling, plastering and pre-painting of walls must be completed;
  • check the floor moisture - according to a CM device humidity should not exceed 2%; in the dry room, if necessary by installing appropriate devices, heating them, or sniffing
    1. if necessary, dry the room by installing appropriate devices, heating them or ventilate;
    2. apply an anti-moisture ground;
  • ground the floor in order to harden and clean it.

Optimal conditions for parquet laying.

The most important factors determining permanent laying of a parquet are:

  • floor moisture (not exceeding 2%);
  • temperature (15 - 20 deg C) and air humidity in the room (not exceeding 60 %);
  • quality of the ground (the floor must be perfectly flat so that the elements, especially the big ones, adhere well to it).

Attention: Uwaga: If you want to install floor heating under the parquet, it needs to be considered that wood lets the warmth through only in a small extent. In order to make the heating perceptible, the thickness of elements used should be smaller than the traditional one. It has to be checked which kind of parquet is suitable for such an installation.

Palace mosaic

Elements of a panel are joined together in a 'foreign tongue' technique in a set pattern. In spots where several elements join each other there is a paper tape stuck on the right side, which additionally helps to keep the panel as a whole. After sticking the panel to the floor, you can peel off the tape or scrape it. Given patterns are made of solid wood.
We can make other patterns of palace mosaic presented by customers. The price of such a mosaic is determined individually.
You can get some information about the palace mosaic under the number 602 834 200
